POLYMORPH SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT RELEASES PRESTISSIMO 1.5, A MAJOR UPDATE TO IT'S POPULAR UTILITY FOR ADJUSTING MAC OS 8.5/8.6 OPTIONS.

LA JOLLA, Calif. - June 1, 1999 - PolyMorph Software Development today announced the immediate availability of Prestissimo 1.5 available free on the web site <http://www.polymorph.net>. Prestissimo 1.5 has been completely rewritten to make it easier to use and has been localized into German, Swedish and Traditional Chinese.

Prestissimo has been extensively tested on all versions of Mac OS 8.5 as well as Mac OS 8.6 and early builds of Sonata, Apple's next major revision to the Mac OS. This is the last major update to Prestissimo as PolyMorph is moving on to developing new products in association with the Iconfactory <http://www.iconfactory.com>.

Prestissimo offers the most comprehensive adjustment of previously hidden options in Apple's Mac OS 8.5 and above. The application offers an easy to use interface onto some powerful new options including both scroll arrows at each end of a scroll bar, switching applications via the keyboard and displaying a floating palette with all the running application. Prestissimo also offers the ability to completely disable these features for those of you that use other solutions.
