Across the natural world, many creatures, from quite different species, work together for common advantage. At Polymorph we recognise that similar relationships can also successfully exist between the customer and supplier in everyday business.
Indeed, we firmly believe that by helping your business to grow and prosper over long periods, we can also grow with you for mutual gain.
By fully understanding the unique challenges that you face, our consultants can help provide tailored and highly practical IT solutions that can be precisely aligned with your strategic goals. At the same time, as a forward thinking, delivery-focused company, we can help you to develop and implement solutions that will deliver the promised benefits.
Here are some examples:
Ant-Acacia Mutualism
A type of Acacia tree produces nutrients which are of value only to a particular species of ant, and which the ant cannot obtain elsewhere. In return, the ants ferociously attack other invading insect predator and even stunt the growth of the plants and trees competing for space with the Acacias.
Anemone-Clownfish Collaboration
Residing amongst sea anemones and immune to their stinging tentacles, Clownfish don't simply inhabit their host and act as resident cleaners. Through their fiercely territorial behaviour, Clownfish also help to protect the sedentary anemones from attack by would-be predators.
Oxpecker-Rhinoceros Assistance
Oxpeckers land on Rhinoceros, Zebra and Buffalo in order to eat the ticks and other parasites that live on their skin. Providing the Oxpecker with a ready food supply, the beast in question gains highly effective pest control. Also, whenever there is danger, the Oxpecker flies upwards, screaming a warning.
